A Workforce Wellness Model Built for Organisations That Take People Seriously
Most employee wellness programmes tick a box. This one builds something that lasts.
Sinta Ebersohn is the founder of Get Up and Grow and the 2024 African Excellence Award winner for Best Employee Wellness Assistance Programme. Get Up and Grow is a specialist Workplace Wellness Assistance Programme designed for high performance, high pressure industries where the human cost of neglecting mental health is measured in safety incidents, operational failures, and people who quietly stop coping. It is personally founded and delivered by a Mentor whose accreditations span ten internationally accredited disciplines and whose expertise is rooted in the lived experience of every kind of adversity life can deliver.
Every component of the Get Up and Grow model is built around a holistic understanding of human wellbeing across nine dimensions: emotional, physical, mental, social, environmental, financial, vocational, spiritual and family. It is structured to align directly with the Environmental, Social and Governance pillars of your organisation’s ESG commitments, giving leadership a wellness framework that is not only meaningful to employees but reportable to stakeholders.
The programme is designed for organisations whose people are self motivated, computer literate, and truly committed to their own growth. If that describes your workforce, read on.
About Sinta Ebersohn
Sinta Ebersohn brings something to the wellness space that is entirely unique: the lived experience of human resilience tested to its absolute limits, combined with the rigorous professional training to understand it, name it and teach it with precision. Her approach is unlike anything else available.
As a Mentor, her international accreditations span ten disciplines: First Responder, Resilience Practitioner, Strategic Life Coach, Complementary Therapist, Trauma Debriefing Specialist, Holistic Counsellor, Parenting Coach, Separation and Divorce Mentor, End of Life Doula and Training Provider. Every one of them was earned in direct response to something she has personally lived through, researched deeply, and transformed into tools that work in the real world.
What she brings to every client relationship is hard-won, field-tested and deeply human. That is the foundation your workforce stands on when they work with her.
Testimonial
“Sinta’s Trauma Debriefing and Conflict Resolution services during many of the trauma and conflict incidents were invaluable to the production and the crew involved. The crew were extremely appreciative of the efforts from production and spoke highly of Sinta and the benefits they derived from her intervention and sessions with her.” – T.D.W.
The Case for Getting This Right
Organisations that invest seriously in the wellbeing of their people do not do so because it is a legislative requirement or a line item on an ESG report. They do it because they understand a simple truth: a workforce that is mentally and emotionally equipped to handle adversity is more focused, more cohesive, more productive and more loyal than one that is not. The return on that investment is measurable, and the cost of neglecting it is equally so.
People do not leave their lives at the door when they come to work. Grief, relationship breakdown, financial pressure, health challenges, family crisis and personal trauma all walk in alongside them, shaping how they think, how they communicate, how they make decisions and how they cope under pressure. Equally, what happens at work, whether it is conflict, harassment, a critical incident or prolonged stress, does not stay there either. It goes home. It affects sleep, relationships, parenting and health. The boundary between the personal and the professional is far more permeable than any organisational chart suggests.
This is why wellness support has to be holistic. It has to meet people where they actually are, not only where their job description says they should be. Left unaddressed, the accumulated weight of personal and professional adversity compounds silently until it becomes visible in ways that are costly, disruptive and very difficult to reverse: absenteeism, burnout, safety failures, toxic team dynamics, high staff turnover and the slow erosion of the organisational culture that good leadership worked hard to build. By the time it surfaces at leadership level, the damage runs deep.
A proactive, holistic wellness model changes that equation entirely. Rather than managing crises after they occur, it builds the individual and collective capacity to navigate difficulty before it becomes dysfunction. That is the philosophy at the heart of everything Get Up and Grow does, and it is why the programme is structured the way it is.

Industry Specific Programmes
Every industry carries its own pressures, its own culture, and its own particular ways of asking too much of the people who keep it running. A wellness programme that works for a corporate office will not necessarily serve a film crew on a demanding production, a team of first responders managing vicarious trauma, or an offshore workforce rotating through months of isolation at sea. Get Up and Grow has developed specialised programmes for industries with unique and demanding requirements, each one built from a thorough understanding of that world and the people who inhabit it.
Cast and Crew Wellness Assistance Programme (CCWAP)

A specialised wellness programme built for the unique demands of film and television production, where diverse crews work under intense pressure, tight deadlines and emotionally challenging conditions. Covers trauma debriefing, conflict resolution, cultural diversity, harassment intervention and mental health support, delivered on set or online.
First Responder Wellness Assistance Programme (FRWAP)

Designed specifically for the men and women who run towards danger so that others can run away. Addresses the vicarious trauma, critical incident stress, compassion fatigue and burnout that accumulate silently in emergency services environments, with interventions that speak the language of this world and respect its culture.
Offshore Workforce Wellness Assistance Programme (OWWAP)

Built for rotational workers navigating the psychological demands of isolation, family separation, high risk environments and cultural diversity at sea. Combines an accessible online membership resource library with direct intervention support for critical incidents, designed around the realities of life on rotation.
The Six Components of the Wellness Model
1.First Response
Individual Support
Trauma Debriefing and one on one Get Up and Grow sessions, booked via calendar, paid per session
When an employee encounters a critical incident, traumatic event or significant personal challenge, timely and skilled support makes all the difference to their recovery and their ability to return to full functioning. Sinta provides individual trauma debriefing and personalised Get Up and Grow sessions directly, bringing her full expertise as a First Responder, Trauma Debriefing Specialist and Resilience Practitioner to every session. Individual support is available to employees who hold an active Get Up and Grow membership, ensuring that the foundation of personal resilience is already in place when crisis arrives.
2.First Response
Group Support
Trauma debriefing for teams and departments, paid per session
Critical incidents do not only affect individuals. They ripple through entire teams, affecting morale, trust, communication and collective functioning. First Response Group Support addresses the shared experience directly, facilitating trauma debriefing and recovery on a collective level. This is specialised work that requires both professional training and the lived understanding of how trauma moves through groups. It restores cohesion, rebuilds resilience and helps teams find their footing together after the ground has shifted.
3.Get Up and Grow
Membership
Ongoing self-directed online learning and development, monthly subscription
The Get Up and Grow Resilience Hub membership is the foundation of the entire wellness model and the starting point for every employee who joins the programme. It is a comprehensive, self-directed online resource library covering all nine dimensions of the Resilience Puzzle: emotional, physical, mental, social, environmental, financial, vocational, spiritual and family. Members access workshops, training modules, masterclasses, tools, resources and more at their own pace, choosing the content most relevant to their current situation and growth goals.
Members are encouraged to attend the Get Up and Grow Masterclass, where Sinta teaches her proprietary four step blueprint in depth, an approach that can be applied with success to any adversity, life challenge, setback or traumatic experience.
Membership is the prerequisite for accessing individual support, because prevention is always more powerful than cure. Employees who are actively building their resilience are far better equipped to navigate crisis when it arrives.
4.Onboarding Training
Nine module programme, available as a self-paced online course or delivered live online, paid per programme
A structured onboarding training programme designed to establish a shared foundation of awareness, respect and professional conduct from day one. Modules include but are not limited to: Inclusion, Diversity & Equity, Discrimination, Bias Awareness, Harassment, Corruption & Ethics, Mental Health, Team Collaboration, Conflict Management, Resilience Tips & more.
Each module has been professionally developed and pre-recorded for flexible self-paced delivery, or can alternatively be presented live online by Sinta with additional interactive content for a richer group experience.
5.Customised Training
Bespoke programme designed after a needs assessment, quoted on request
Every organisation has its own culture, its own challenges and its own particular pressure points. Customised training is designed from the ground up after a thorough needs assessment conducted with organisational leadership, ensuring that what is delivered is precisely what the workforce actually needs rather than an off the shelf solution dressed up as something tailored. No quotation is provided until that conversation has taken place. This is not a limitation, it is a commitment to doing the work properly.
6.Keynote Speaking
Bookable inspirational event, in person or online, paid per event
The Get Up and Grow Keynote is an experience unlike any other in the wellness and resilience space. Sinta moves among people, makes personal contact, and facilitates something that participants do not expect: a living demonstration of what it means to face what life has thrown at you and grow into something stronger than you were before. Audiences engage, contribute, feel genuinely seen and leave altered rather than merely inspired. The keynote is suitable for all kinds of events, including corporate wellness days, industry conferences, leadership summits, mental health awareness events, community gatherings and more, and is available for booking as a standalone event.
Work With Sinta
Get Up and Grow has limited capacity and Sinta is selective about the organisations she partners with. This is not a programme for every workplace, and that is by design. The results this work produces depend entirely on the commitment of the leadership that commissions it and the willingness of the people who engage with it.
The organisations Sinta works with share a common set of characteristics:
- They are large enough to invest seriously in the wellbeing of their people and honest enough to mean it.
- They operate in demanding, high pressure environments where the human cost of neglecting mental health is real and measurable.
- Their leadership does not need to be convinced that wellness matters. They already know it, and they are looking for the right partner to help them do it properly.
- They are international organisations who understand the value of specialist expertise and are prepared to invest in it accordingly.
- They are looking for something truly different: not a box to tick on an annual report, but a programme that transforms individuals from the inside out, helping them outgrow the limitations that adversity has imposed on them.
If that describes your organisation, and if you believe our values and goals align, you are welcome to introduce yourself by completing the enquiry form below. Sinta reviews every submission personally and will be in touch if there is a compelling reason to take the conversation further.
Please note that Get Up and Grow does not offer free consultations or discovery calls. Your completed form is your introduction.
