About Get Up And Grow

Get Up and Grow is an award-winning online community founded by Sinta Ebersohn, an Internationally Accredited Mentor and Post Traumatic Growth Specialist, acknowledged globally with an African Excellence Award in 2024.

The community consists of individual members as well as staff from organisations of all kinds, who are enrolled as part of our Employee Wellness Assistance Programme. Together we are building a global network of resilient families and workforces.

Every guest on the Get Up and Grow podcast is invited personally by Sinta. This is not an open application or submission process. Sinta reached out to you because she genuinely believes your story has something rare and valuable to offer. The courage it takes to live through adversity, to grow from it and to share it openly, is exactly what our community needs to hear.

About the Host

Sinta Ebersohn is an internationally accredited Mentor with designations as First Responder, Resilience Practitioner, Strategic Life Coach, Complimentary Therapist, Trauma Debriefing Specialist, Holistic Counsellor, Parenting Coach, Separation and Divorce Mentor, End of Life Doula and Training Provider. She holds over 40 international accreditations, received multiple awards among which the African Excellence Award in 2024 and is the founder of Get Up and Grow and Fair Divorce. Her work has reached people across the world who are rebuilding their lives through adversity and trauma. She is based in Cape Town, South Africa.

How It Works

  • The interview is a relaxed, pre-recorded conversation via Zoom, hosted by Sinta Ebersohn. It fits into an hour.
  • The final edited video is published on the Get Up and Grow podcast, on YouTube, Spotify and all connected platforms.
  • The episode is shared across all Get Up and Grow social media channels, from where you are warmly encouraged to share it with your own network too.
  • Your story becomes part of a growing library of real human experience that inspires and guides others who are walking a similar path.

You have been personally invited by Sinta to share your own lived experience of adversity, trauma and resilience, or your experience of providing a volunteer service to others facing similar challenges. This interview is offered to you at no charge, in recognition of the gift of your story and the value it will bring to others.

Please note that personal story interviews focus entirely on your lived experience and the insights and practical wisdom you have gained from it. Commercial services, products or any paid offerings may not be discussed or promoted during the interview.
